I hate nc wildlife and fishing it just so small... im currently stationed at camp lejuene nc but born and raised in sinton tx... just a quick little summary of the nc outdoors... back in texas i fish the back creeks always catching some fish but here i havent caught one fish yet and yes i can fish... its prolly because alot of the fish are non-eatable so they probably all die... saltwater is horrible cause in texas the hardhead or saltcat is ur worst enemy but here its shark and stingray yea cool at first but not every time... know the hunting a nc trophy deer is like a 9 point that weights 100lbs... i saw a doe when i first got here and thaught it was a fox... oh and squirrels are like mosquitos... well thats enough for today... let me go caught some.......... well nuthin!!!

I grew up not too far away from Sinton in Odem and my dad's family is from Sinton.  It's hard to live a true hunting and fishing paradise like we have here in Texas and expect it to be just as good.  I'm sure you have fished the back of Nueces Bay there in Corpus and have caught plenty of fish.  That is still one of my favorite spots to go fishing when I visit family back in Odem!!!
