Kip West, Dean Palmer and Lee Marks arrived mid-week
for their first hunt/visit at Campos Viejos.  I played
ball with and against Kip all through our youth and
Dean, Lee and I were all on the same high school ball
team together.

Kip struck early at 217 yards with this great
heavy-antlered 8 point from Nuestro Sueno.  Kip's
130's beast was 5 1/2 years old. 

After a few sittings, Dean decided to go after one and
we found his beautiful 6 1/2 year old 10 point on his
last afternoon with us.  We were finally able to get a
shot clear of the other bucks in the sendero and Dean
hammered him at nearly the same distance.

All kinds of baseball and bulls*** were discussed over
the past few days and it was awesome to see the guys
again and spend some time just hanging out. 

Thanks to Kip, Dean and Lee for coming down.  It truly
isn't work when I'm having this much fun.

I hope we can make it an annual event.
