16th Annual Texas
Parks & Wildlife Expo 2007

The Texas Parks & Wildlife Expo is a two day event that educates visitors about the myriad of outdoor activities available in our great state. It is not practical, but I wish the Parks & Wildlife Expo was much longer than a weekend – maybe a month – like the State Fair.

As I toured the booths and events this year, it struck me that Expo XVI serves the role of educating outdoor enthusiasts about the diversity of Texas; much like SeaWorld educates visitors about marine life.

From camping and outdoor skills to shooting sports and fishing, from bird watching to paddle sports, Expo visitors have an opportunity to try their hands at two full days of fun in the outdoors.

Texas Parks & Wildlife charges a hefty $0.00 Entrance Fee and Parking Fee. There is not a better value, more fun filled, and educational opportunity to Explore Texas – or to market your product or service – or to educate people about the mission of your organization – than the TPWD EXPO.

Mark your calendar NOW for EXPO XVII, October 4th & 5th, 2008 at the Texas Parks & Wildlife Headquarters in Austin.
