Description:

What started with a single taxidermy building in 1966 on Mike Simpson's piece of land off Sleepy Hollow Road, has grown to one of the largest taxidermy outfits in the world.  Conroe Taxidermy LP now features many buildings, which include multiple locations containing a tannery, crating room, processing room, offices and storage facilities. What started as a way to scrape together a few extra dollars has mushroomed into a family business that makes it the second largest of it's kind.  Conroe Taxidermy LP is owned and operated by Mike Simpson and his sons, Michael Simpson, Barret Simpson and Travis Simpson.  Conroe Taxidermy LP is known around the world for our quality. Our mounts last a lifetime!

The Conroe Taxidermy LP satellite shop at 29508 Interstate I-45 in Spring, Texas, is simply a showroom and drop-off location as a convenience to our customers from Houston and Dallas who don't want to drive all the way back in the woods. The real magic happens at our Conroe location where thousands of mounts are created yearly. Come by sometime and take a look! You can also see our work at the Gander Mountain in Spring, Texas.
