Paul Johnson Whitetails at Los Encinos Ranch is owned by Paul & Sylvia Johnson of McAllen Texas.  We are located on 2680 acres of South Texas Oak Tree country across from the King Ranch, 15 miles south of Falfurrias.

We started our Scientific Whitetail program in 2002. Our main focus is South Texas Genetics and a very limited Northern Cross program. Most of our Breeder Bucks are main frame 6 x 6’s. This year we are starting an artificial insemination program.

Most of our genetics come from Dennis Kotzur who has been breeding south texas whitetail for over 20 years. We now have over 220 deer in our pens and are bringing in other genetics to cross with our herd.
