The Anglers Club of San Antonio was founded in 1937 by Mr. Gene Seng, Sr. to promote fishing and hunting amongst those interested individuals of the San Antonio community. 

It a Bass fishing club out of San Antonio and surrounding areas. They fish 9 tournaments per year, ranging from: Falcon Lake, Lake Amistad, Choke Canyon, Coleto Creek, Inks Lake/Lake Buchanan, and Fayette County. There are no monthly meetings (except when we get together at weigh-ins each month at our tournaments).  They like to keep it simple.

Their goal in life is to fish . . . along the way, promoting outdoorsmanship, sportsmanship, and out and out enjoyment. No politics are allowed. The majority of the members are avid hunters as well.

The club's motto is "Better fishing for the fisherman and better hunting for the hunter."
