I picked it up today. I can't wait to start shooting it. I'm really happy with the lighter weight from my old PSE. This one is a Diamond. It's much more compact too. I can almost hear the hogs - "BRING IT ON ALLEN!" Here's a photo...

It's a beaut Allen. I really like these new bows with the short axle and axle distances, makes for easy shooting in tight spots... Get 'er warmed up, won't be long now until we can get after the critters....

What a fun toy!  I am still very much a novice but even practicing with my bow is a good time.  If I ever get good at it maybe I'll get an upgrade as well.

Thanks guys. It's safe to say my should isn't as strong as it was at the end of last season. I'm going to be getting a lot of practise in over the next month. I might need to use a hog as a target after I start grouping well with this new bow. I do like the more compact bow a lot. It's going to be much easier up in a tree or down in a blind now.

By the way, Allen, I don't know if you've ever tried one of the pop-up style blinds, but I have an Ameristep Brickhouse and one of the things I like about it is that you can draw back on your bow without hitting the sides (not much extra room at full draw, but it works).  You can set it up or take it down in about 2 minutes or less, and it has shadowguard lining that allows you to move around inside a bit without giving yourself away.  FWIW

The bow looks nice!  I got a new Reflex Buckskin last year and it is amazing how much lighter and how much more smooth the newer bows are.
