You betcha. I'm primed and ready to go, got a real good spot picked out that I've used the past 2 years on Public Land...have always seen turkey there.

Been thinking about for oh, I don't know, 11 months or so. Looks like I'll be hunting Aquilla for the third year in a row. I haven't shot a bird yet, but third time is the charm right? Not gonna be able to make the trek for opening weekend, but hopefully I will be able to get up there for the 2nd or third weekend. I can't wait.

I was hoping to go in a couple of weeks. Started a new job a few months ago and had a meeting scheduled on me, so things ain't looking too good these days..... The turkeys are loving it!!!

I have been to Aquilla several times and have yet to see a turkey.  What part of the place do y'all have the best luck?

This is my first post, but I have been enjoying your site for severial weeks.

I have been able to harvest four turkey while hunting, but this will be my "1st Official Turkey Hunt".  I put in for a TPWD drawing for myself and three friends and we were drawn!  We are pumped and ready for our hunt.  We will be going to the Walter Buck WMA, near Junction, on April 18-20th.  So I just had to jump in here and share my excitement!

I went to the South Llano River State Park about a month ago and there were 50+ turkey running everywhere.  Now if we can just fool a few into coming within range.

I will let y'all know in a few weeks how we did.
