Dallas12 Points: Y (0) / M (0) chris shannon Email Dallas12	My brother and I are want to go on a quail or pheasant hunt this November/December timeframe. I live in Dallas and he lives in Austin. Does anyone know of any good places to go maybe in the Panhandle or some other area? Does anyone guide these hunts? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

bird_hunting Points: Y (0) / M (0) larry kolinek	Hi Dallas12... If you want a "canned" quail hunt, you can set one up at www.uplandbirdhuntinginc.com. The place is 1 hour outside of Austin. Its a new gun club, but a nice one. If you have never done a canned hunt, (I didn't until last year).... if done correctly... its a lot of fun, you will see lots of birds smile and its pretty real!!! check out the club! good luck Texas Bird Hunting

It's going to be Pheasant, Quail then Goose. I really miss hunting the panhandle. It's a treasure chest of bird hunting. This is going to be one heck of a hunt to report on. Hunt Hard. Fish Smart.
