This was sent to me by a former co-worker:

"This particular one is a custom built by yours truly. It is an AI (accuracy international, currently in use by sniper teams from US, UK, Germany) sniper stock, 10x fixed Springfield armory scope with mildot reticle 1/8 moa clicks, 2 pound single stage trigger, threaded for AAC cyclone suppressor, tactical bolt handle, bolt has been squared and lapped to the barrel. This gun shoots .308 (7.62 nato) and will do <1MOA at 200 yards. I have not shot it over 200 Yards as I can not find a place with longer distances at the current time. To get setup with a nice gun like that your look at between 3-5K depending on optics and options. ;-)"

My new gun is a Remington 700P.

I picked it up today. First two shots where touching at 100 yards.

adjusted scope trying to zero to +4.0 at 100 yards.

got three bullets in a vertical line within 1 MOA but had two outside - not good enough. Shooting Federal GameKing.

However, the gun is still dating around trying to find the right bullet and it was my first time to shoot with the new trigger and at a range, but bottom line, not good enough.

I am pretty sure I can get to .75 MOA with factory ammo - I will keep you posted.

The jewel trigger was so nice, set at 2lbs, gentle touch is all that is required.
