I havent hunted ducks in a couple of years and the tank at the ranch is about 5 feet low and I have not seen a single duck. I really miss calling in the ducks.

I have been to Aquilla and there were some places that we could walk into and toss out some decoys. I also have a small 10ft bass hunter boat that could be used. Im going to head down to the ranch next week and check things out, if I see some ducks we can make a trip down there and try out our luck.

OK guys - here's the deal. I plan to be in Dilley for the opening of the second season on the 26th and then swing over to Rockport that night to go after them quackers the next day. There is room on the island for a couple of more guys if you want to join me...... Cost is minimal. I'll bring the decoys and the dawg......... All you need is a chair, your gun and the shells. Let me know if you're interested.
