Doggedly Determined Communication Worker Hunts Stealthy Texas Whitetail on Escape to the WildWritten on: 03/05/2010 by: Union Sportsmen Alliance
Texas -
When Alica Posey of Communication Workers Local 3802 harvested her first whitetail buck a few years ago, all she could do was yell “big, big, big” into her two-way radio. Though hunting is part of everyday life in her Alabama community, 43-year-old Posey has only been hunting for the past six years. This season took her to South Texas for an Escape to the Wild whitetail hunt where the landscape is brutal and “there’s nothing that won’t stick you or bite you in some form or fashion.” Does Posey Put a Buck on the Ground? Tune in to Escape to the Wild on VERSUS to find out. Escape to the Wild is a TV series that honors hardworking union members with all-expenses-paid trips to world-class hunting and fishing destinations. This season's winners will pursue exotic game in Africa, follow the bugle of bull elk, play tug-of-war with Guatemala sailfish, trek the tundra for caribou, outwit whitetail across the U.S., and hunt black bear on Vancouver Island in 10 adrenaline-pumping episodes Visit www.TRCP.tv for a complete TRCP TV schedule, video, photos and more.
