I thought you might find this comparison interesting. This is my Kel-Tec P32 side-by-side with my Kahr P380. Both measure between .75 and .77 inches thick at various points. The Kahr, in addition to having higher quality sights, (mine has trijicon night sights too), also has  more room in front of the trigger and doesn't weigh noticeably more  than the P32 when both are being carried loaded. Most importantly, the Kahr hasn't had any documented reports of reliability issues like the Ruger LCP, Taurus 738 and other micro .380's have, (many of them can't support +P ammo either). Considering I'm packing seven 100 gr loads running close to 1100 FPS in a gun that is almost identical in size to the smallest .32 on the market, I think we might be reaching a point where this is the best it is going to get with a compact .380. The question now is, who will put the first generation of reinforced casing, higher velocity/grain weight ammo on the market that makes a 9mm equivalent .380 round
