Realtree® has joined forces with Reebok and the NFL to develop a line of clothing designed especially for those who love to watch a pro game on the field when they're not hunting or fishing in the field. The Open Field Collection, a focused collection of hunting and fishing apparel, combines the logos of 32 NFL teams with Realtree camo patterns. The collection, which targets sporting good stores and outdoor specialists, such as Cabela's and Gander Mountain, was unveiled at the 2010 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Jan. 19-22.
 
Research conducted by Reebok revealed that there are more than 11 million avid NFL fans who are also frequent participants in hunting and fishing, so combining both passions into one collection seemed like the natural thing to do.

The initial Open Field Collection line features eight key apparel styles including a Realtree camo player jersey, short- and long-sleeve tees, a fleece hoodie and heavyweight cotton canvas jacket.  One of the most compelling pieces is the Reebok Speedwick t-shirt made with PlayDry fabric, which features the exact construction and performance elements of the shirt worn by the NFL players during practice and games, but with a camo pattern. There is also a headwear component to the offering, which highlights the Realtree camo pattern in a variety of fitted and adjustable caps and also a knit hat. The Realtree patterns give the collection authenticity with avid sportsmen, as well as added performance.  
 
Other companies have combined the two passions in some of their offerings as well. In addition to Reebok NFL team apparel, jerseys and caps; Great American Products NFL team drinkwear; Zippo NFL team lighters and camping items; and Wincraft NFL team flags, pennants and novelties were on display during the 2010 SHOT Show. NFL pro athletes Chris Cooley and Chad Pennington also attended the show to promote the collection.
 
Products will be available to the public fall 2010.
