I am not sure what the going rate is in that area but if you are intrested in leasing it I would be intrested in leasing it from you.

Have not seen lease rates drop much, if any, from the drought.  Rates will of course vary from ranch to ranch and depend on amenities.  I would think $10/acre on the very low end, and having a live creek could enhance that price a lot!

I would also be very interested in learning more about the property.

I am actually looking for a deer lease in your area.  My father used to hunt in this area and I want to lease back in that area again.  I am looking for a lease for my family. Very managed minded hunters.  The $10 to $13 an acre is probably the going rate depending on the property, maybe slightly more.  High fencing in the area restricing deer movement can lower the price.

Like some here, I too am researching the fair rate for leasing 100+ acres with a spectacualr river view cabin in west texas. Mule Deer, White tail, Prong Horned Antelope, Wild Spanish Goat (see pic), Javalina, Varmits. I see the 10-13/acre but that doesnt seem too fair with a spacious cabin. Also, when leasers quote a cost per gun how long is that usualy for? weekend, week?
