Bass Champs, the leading bass tournament trail in the state of Texas, is proud to announce the addition of Progressive Insurance as a sponsor for the 2010 tournament season.

Bass Champs kicked-off 2010 with excitement the past two weekends, as Terry Oldham and teammate Jaime Buitron took first place at Lake Amistad on January 16th, taking home more than $20,000 in cash, including bonus money from sponsors Costa and Sure Life.  The team bested 201 teams, weighing in a five fish limit, including an 11.74 lb. lunker.  In addition, Pete Shivers and Doyle Tibbitts, topped over 500 anglers on Sam Rayburn this past weekend with over 19 pounds and took home over $20,000

Tournament winners earn a guaranteed $20,000 check, with qualifiers from the North, Central, East and South Divisions meeting at the Team Championships for a shot at their share of more than $100,000.
