Western Shooting Horse Magazine, the only national newsstand publication covering the fast growing equestrian shooting sports celebrates its second complete year of publication with television's most popular horse trainer, Craig Cameron on the cover.
In an in-depth interview with the equestrian worlds Extreme Cowboy, Cameron reveals his love for firearms and his staunch commitment to the gun rights of all Americans. Cameron recently committed to adding firearms competition to his Extreme Cowboy races that take place nationwide and air on his widely watched RFD Television series, "Ride Smart."
"When we first approached Craig to encourage his use mounted shooting in his Extreme Cowboy competitions we were thrilled when he showed us his prize Colt Single Action Army," says Western Shooting Horse Publisher, Ken Amorosano. "His answer was a resounding yes and a mounted shooting segment was immediately added to his World Championships that took place in Kansas City this past October."
Cameron, who is known nationwide as the Cowboy's Cowboy clinician, is the host of his own television series, "Ride Smart" on RFD-TV. He is the author of several books, and his travel schedule rivals that of professional rodeo contestants. He is one of the most sought out clinicians on the horse expo trail, and he finds time to put on more than 22 private clinics at his Double Horn Ranch in Bluff Dale, Texas.
Cameron will attend the Shot Show in Las Vegas with Western Shooting Horse publisher, Ken Amorosano where he is scheduled to meet with Colt's General Keys and other key figures in the firearms community.
Those interested in meeting Cameron can email Amorosano at ken@wshmag.com to schedule an introduction.
Free copies of the January/February issue of Western Shooting Horse can be picked up in the Shot Show media room or at the Colt, Cimarron Firearms, Taylors & Company or EMF Company Booths.
