does anyone have any idea where to try to fish for catfish on the lake.  i have never fished it and will be going up to try to find some fish for a tournamet later this month.  any idea of where to try would be appreciated.

your best bet for catfish is under the striper, i dint catfish but a friend of mine is a striper guide i have seen them catch huge catfish by drifting cut shad underneath the striper. as for as the smaller fish this time of year i catch a lot of them on the bluffs when i am bass fishing. they mouth of the river is where my buddy is fishing right now,and the flats on the south side of the bridge.  good luck

thanks.  i am going over there next thursday to prefish for a tournament.  i will be drifting and will definately try up around the mouth of the river.
