having a argument with bud about the late season jan 4-17.  i say its general open season doe/spike only with youth season on that saturday/sunday.he says youth only all season. who is right ? we hunt in palo pinto and wise county

I just called the local warden.that is a youth season,they can take any legal deer.everyone else can hunt that period but doe or spike only.

You're right...but what I was alluding to is that the dates are different depending on what county/area you're hunting.  Some seasons are Jan 4-17, others are later.
