The property next door is for sale so I'm thinking they were checking out that property and got turned around. The landowner was a little spooked because this trail leads directly to her house and the people in the photo had to walk thru her yard to get back to the road.

Well, here's my thoughts.... Buck and doe, both look well fed, possibly from hanging around another feeder since you don't have previous evidence of them visiting this feeder. I'd say young to middle age, a couple more years and they should be in great shape.

Can't see him being a dominant buck though...a little too heavy in the brisket.  Must've been a good year for acorns or something. :)
