I am trying to find any one who has had any luck hog hunting at Bardwell lake (Corp Land).  I am a bow hunter looking for a close place to the metroplex to hog hunt.  I was out there this morning scouting and I did not see any signs but I may have been looking in the wrong location.  Thanks for reading and any information is appreciated.

I posted this in Texas hog Hunting.  I thought I should post again over here in Public land.  Thanks for the look.

Since no one replied I will tell you what little I know. This was last year BTW. I was hunting some place else, but had time to kill on the way home. I stopped and scouted the upper end for several hours. I saw no fresh hog sign when I was there. I saw nothing that would have made me want to go back to hunt it that season.

Thanks for the reply.  Basically, I figured out the same thing.  The area looked like a waste of time.  The land is over grown and I did not see anything other than a few rabbits and coyote tracks.   Thnaks again.

I know you posted a while back but I just saw it, I did a lot of duck hunting there this past season and never saw any signs o hogs. I've walked a lot of the land in the northern cove and havent seen anything. I haven,t covered much of the land on the northwestern side though. Ihunted out there about 20-30 times this past season, getting there an hour or so before daylight, I would hink if there were hogs aroung I would have seen or herd some. hope this helps!
