Hybrid striper are slow. White bass to 2.5 pounds are good on Li'l Fishies, minnows, and shad colored crankbaits off lighted docks at night. Crappie are good on Li'l Fishies and tube jigs over brush piles in 6 - 15 feet and under lights at night. Channel catfish to 9 pounds are excellent on over baited holes in 5 - 15 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN 
Water clear; 65 degrees; 26.05' low. Black bass are good on ¼oz. Bleeding Shad Rat-L-Traps, Skip-N-Pop topwaters, and Texas rigged weightless silver flake Whacky Sticks at daylight in 8 - 15 feet. Striped bass are fair casting and jigging Spoiler Shads (plastic swim baits) and Rat-L-Traps along the river channel in 25 - 40 feet in the lower end close to the dam at daylight, and drifting or free lining live bait in 30 - 40 feet. White bass are fair but small on Tiny Traps and 2in. plastic swim baits along the river channel and in deep creeks. Crappie are fair on pink/white or chartreuse Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows in clear water.

CADDO 
Water murky; 56-61 degrees; 1.67' high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged worms and Senkos. White bass are fair in the main channels on Road Runners and spoons. Yellow bass are fair to good on jigs and small spoons. Channel catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

CALAVERAS 
Water stained; 65 degrees. Black bass are very good on dark soft plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits around reed beds. Striped bass are slow. Redfish are fair on live bait, and on crawfish and tilapia near the dam. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on liver, shrimp, cheesebait, and shad near the railroad bridge and 181 Cove. Yellow catfish are slow.

CANYON LAKE 
Water clear; 63 degrees; 10.49' low. Black bass are fair to good on Rat-L-Traps and white spinnerbaits along creeks and ditches in bays in 6 - 15 feet, and on watermelon red Whacky Sticks on jigheads and Texas rigged grape Scoundrel worms on shaky head jigs along main lake bluffs, and on JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters, wacky rigged watermelon red Whacky Sticks, and Texas rigged blue flake worms tight to lay downs upriver. Striped bass are fair but small jigging blade baits and trolling Gizz 4 and deep running Shad Raps crankbaits over and around humps in the lower end at first light. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are good on Smokin' Greenin. Devil's Tongues on drop shots, smoke JDC curl tail grubs on jigheads, and 3/16oz. pumpkin Curb's jigs with matching drop shot worms under cloud cover along ledges and over rock piles in 10 - 20 feet early. Crappie are fair on minnows and crappie jigs upriver.

CEDAR CREEK 
Water stained; 57-62 degrees; 0.05' high. Black bass are good on finesse worms, Rat-L-Traps, Carolina rigs and jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on live bait and slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait and cut shad.

CHOKE CANYON 
Water clear; 66 degrees; 9.41' low. Black bass are good on watermelon red and tequila sunrise soft plastics in 15 - 25 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs. Drum are fair on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are fair on live perch and goldfish.

COLEMAN
