Anyone been hunting the North Eastern Panhandle??  We are headed up for our yearly trip to Wheeler/Roberts County on Nov. 30th...  Curious as to how the deer have fared this year??

We are headed up to that neck of the woods this weekend.  From a coaching buddy of mine in Canadian the wheat fields are looking good and the river bottoms as well.  I do know that the early spring rains were good, but the late spring and summer rains were not as good as what they had hoped for.

My buddy said that the horns look to be average with some good ones mixed in.

Good luck this weekend!  Canadian is pretty close to where we will be next week;  the rancher that owns the land we hunt has seen alot of nice deer this year... said they are looking really thick and heavy horned.  Let me know what ya'll end up with!
