Does anyone have any hunting reports on south texas or any where in
Texas.  Curious on what everyone has been seeing or if the deer are pre rutting in south texas.

Heading up to the panhandle for a week and hope to have some good reports and pics when I return..........Looks like the moon and cool weather will be with us and rutting should be going on pretty strong......Mulie season also opens 21st.....Good hunting to all........

15 miles south of rocksprings the young bucks are chasing does.  I saw a couple of mature bucks still hanging in their bachelor groups.  I would guess rut is still a few weeks away in this area, maybe after the full moon on the 9th Dec. rut will be heavily going.  At least I hope so...this is when im taking my vacation!!

Near Del Rio I missed opening weekend due to injuries suffered getting stands ready.  There were about 8 bucks taken, 8 to 10 points.  Last week I went and there were 5 good bucks and a cull spike taken Tues thru Friday.  The rut has not started yet.
