I will be going out there next week, I am taking my two boys (6 and 9 year old).

What do you think about Little lake creek wilderness, southeast corner to be exact.

I am planning on going during the week, I think everyone is staying away from SHNF this year because of the new 13 inch antler restrictions, my son and I have antlerless permits and that's all We're shooting for, it's too hard to get a legal buck out there.

Has anyone been out there this week? any good luck?

I have only seen a few people hunting off of 149 where i hunt during the week.

Killed a big 8 point in the little lake creek widlerness area two years ago.

I have got two deer a year for the last 5 years off of there, i have been luck and got a doe permit each of thoughs years.

Where do you park off of HWY-149, can you just park on the side of the road?

That is a heck of a nice deer.......

After  a very slow bow season i finally got this one during gun.  I always seem to get my deer up there but it seems i  really have to work for it
