We wanted to pass this email along for Joe Schram who is going in for heart surgery. Several of us have hunted behind these dogs and they're great! Joe isn't a member of Central Texas Safari Club, but he is a top notch friend and volunteer to the Austin Area Hunting Community.

Friends: After much careful and deliberate consideration, Lisa and I have decided to sell our top hunting dogs. I am having heart surgery sometime between now and January 1st. Lisa will not be able to take care of me and the dogs too, and it is not fair to the dogs to keep them confined until I am able to hunt again. We are offering the dogs to our friends first. Here is some info on the dogs.
Callie: is a rescue out of Missouri. This is her third hunting season with me. She is about 5-6 years old (estimated by my vet). She has a fantastic nose, works close and is steady to wing, Shot and Fall. She doesn't retrieve much, but I have not really tried to work with her on that. I have other dogs that retrieve good so I never tried too much. She points downed birds and will pick them up. She is a sweet house dog as well. Good around everyone and every dog. She is half Viszla and half Golden Retriever. She has been snake trained and has been given the rattlesnake vaccine as well. She has all her shots and is spayed. She is the first pic in the attachments. She is FREE to a good hunting home.
Tina is a registered 4 yr old (4/28/2006) GSP intact female Liver ticked. She weighs about 45 lbs. Tina is steady to wing and shot and is collar conditioned. Tina is a medium running dog with a good nose. This will be Tina's 3rd hunting season with me. I bought her from Diamond K Ranch in Sisterdale, TX. She has several NAVHDA dogs in her line. She will retrieve but not always to hand. I have not force-fetched Tina. She also has a wonderful disposition. Keith and Michelle Barr will tell you how much they love taking care of her because she is so sweet. No bad habit's in the house at all. She is content to be petted and then go lay on her bed. She does not bark or whine. She has been snake trained and has had the Rattlesnake vaccine. Tina has had all her shots. I am asking $2,000.00 for Tina.
Rebecca was whelped on 8/5/2006. I got her from Mike Tyson, who is a breeder not too far from here. Mike breeds GSP's just for hunting. Rebecca is a GSP intact female who is solid liver. She weighs about 45-50 lbs. She is fully trained, and collar conditioned. She has been force-fetched. She is steady to wing, shot and fall. Rebecca has won a NAVHDA "Prize 2" in Natural Ability and a "Prize 2" in Utility Preparatory. I was going to run her this fall in UT but I had to go back to work and have not had time to train her for the test. She is my lead dog, and usually hunts the entire hunt. She is a tough little dog in the field, and there is nothing that she won't retrieve. She is very conscious of where I am the entire time we are hunting. She works from hand signals, or whistle. She is a medium running dog. Rebecca spends all her time at home with us. She is very good in the house and around people. She thinks she is a lap dog. Most of my customers are amazed at her athletic ability. In fact, the word athlete always seems to come from my customers as they watch her work. Rebecca is a finished dog who has been snake trained, had the rattlesnake vaccine and has had all her shots. I am asking $3,500.00 for her. All of these dogs have been on heart worm continuously, and also receive the "frontline" flea and tick control. All three of these dogs are in excellent shape and have shown no signs of hip problems or other issues. Please let me know if you need more pictures.
