Tonight is the 2nd annual Pete Zamora Celebration that takes place on "La Mota" ranch 3 miles east of Benavides TX, there will be live Tejano Music, cold beer and excelent food to compliment the fine beverages.  Many of the men who attend are millitary Veterans who enjoy the outdoors and good music come together to honor not only opening weekend of Deer season in South Texas, but to celebrate the life of a US Army Hero Pete Zamora.  There is some great photos and memorabilia of all kinds displayed at the lounge at "La Mota" hunting headquaters.  I will have to miss out on this weekends festivities to serve a higher purpose and spend some time with the family.  I have a reservation for some blind time early Thanksgiving week and hope to see some Wild Boar!!   Good luck to all the hunter this season, may your game bag get filled with that trophy you have been wishing for and it taste great on the grill!!!
