USA -

As many of you are aware, the Online Deer Breeder System was down a few weeks ago, and then put back online with a few glitches. TPWD’s IT department is working to fix the problems and has given a timeline of two weeks before the system will be repaired. The tentative date for the system to be fixed is Friday, November 20th.

In the interim, all transfer permits will need to be activated by calling the activation line at 512-389-4600. The “Edit Deer List for Permit” function still works for activated permits so that they may be completed online. Completed transfer permits may also be faxed to 512-389-8080. All Request for Registration of Site or Facility forms to obtain a facility ID will need to be faxed to 512-389-4342 as the “Find/Register Facility” function is not working properly. Some of the dates are displaying incorrectly as well, so it is best to hold off on entering any new information until the system is fixed.

TPWD apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience during this time.

If you have further questions, please contact Amber Andel with the Deer Breeder Program at 512-389-4585.
