I am a landowner and was recently contacted by Faulkner. I've read all the comments, mostly from hunters, and am sad to hear how many were taken for their money. I would like to hear from some landowners about their run ins with him. I have not done any business with him so far, because quite frankly, after just a little checking, I don't like what I see. Landowners- let me hear from you. Hunters-check out my leases on this site.

To be honest, I've not had any dealings with him. I am also a hunter. BUT---RULE OF THUMB----If he has screwed someone once he WILL do it again. I would not take the chance, even if he treated you correctly, if he screws the hunters your reputation will go down because of it. I don't know how other people are in general, but I will NOT take the chance of letting someone else ruin my reputation. I may not have a lot, but my reputation is everything to me. In my business and with people I know and have met. Please don't go there, it's not worth the few dollars he may pay you. There are good hunters out there that would love to talk to you.

Mr. Craft, PLEASE look under the heading for Mr. Faulkner in this same listing. With all of the questionable dealings and dissatisfied customers, he had a chance to defend hisself in court-----HE DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO SHOW----guess he was to busy showing satisfied customers other deer leases.

I have read everything on Faulkner on this site and many others, and have not done business with him.  As a businessman I always vet my potential parterships, not mattter how small. I also know that having a "middle man'" is seldom a good idea as it drives up the cost for both parties. I agree with the comment about reputation and value mine as well. I was curious about his hustle with landowners because I think this may be new territory for him, because he seems to target hunters mostly. Alot of what happened with them was the same- alot of double talk and promises, emails that seemed like they were composed by a third grader, etc. but I think he understood early on that he would get NO $$ out of me until I had a signed lease and the check cleared my account. Haven't heard from hom since.

Before my first call from Faulkner, I had 2 hunters call me about my leases. When I asked which ad they were calling about they didn't know. Both said they got my name from Faulkner and at the time the name was unfamiliar to me and told them that. Neither seemed surprised. About a week later I got my first call from him, lots of talk and promises. The next call he wanted to email me an agreement for me to respond to. It was VERY vague, poorly written, and I did not agree to anything. I responded to him in very explicit terms of what I would and would not do IF I were to use his services. All of the sudden, the potential client changed his mind. After some investigating of his backround I realized this is not somebody to do any business with. In the last week, I have seen that he has been advertising My properties along with My descriptions from My ads. I'm not sure what he is trying to do with all of that. However, I want it known that Clint Craft and Craft Ranches are in no business relationship with Faulkner or Hill Country Outfitters.

Your spam is the same ad by S@W. As we have been warning other about. S@W is Jimmy Faulkner. He tells hunters that his fee will come off the price of the lease. This is always news to the land owners. Mr craft I wish you well with your property.

              With respect, Mike.

He has not even been accurate in some of the ads he has posted about my property. In the earlier posting from Coker, mine is one of the properties described. It was the Jack Co. 4500 acres that  was  leased to Dr. Phil to hunt 10 years ago. I am trying to lease it for 3900 per person. The 1600 acres had not been hunted in 9 years, was hunted briefly but before that had not been hunted in decades. His listings are misleading and not approved by me.
