HCO ScoutGuard SG550 Scouting Camera
The HCO ScoutGuard SG550 Game Camera is great for hunting and animal observation. We set up this camera and a comparable Wildview Game Camera side by side, targeting the same protein feeder, with the intent of getting almost identical pictures to compare quality. One week later we returned to the feeder to find both cameras and the external battery pack for the Wildview Game Camera stolen. However, before the camera was stolen, we performed several tests around the house using my kids and dog to set off the motion sensor in day and night conditions. The quality of the images, battery life, and overall integrity of the device were all great. No, I am not uploading pictures of my kids and dog running around the house. People argue about trailcam image quality. I am not trying to sell my images to a magazine. All I want is to document the variety of species present, keep track of male to female counts, be able to age the deer, and in the case of mature bucks, I want to be able to get a general idea of their B&C score. The unique aspect of this camera is that it is very small and uses a remote that plugs via UBS cable to setup, manage and monitor the camera. This allows for the camera to be very small, but also adds slightly to the complication of setting it up. Personally, I liked this feature and was able to figure out the functionality without having to read the manual. If you were able to find this article on the internet, you can figure out how to the camera remote works. FEATURES: CLICK HERE to read full camera specs. It's a camera and it is hidden from animals and people. Mad ninja skills. CLICK HERE to visit the product page. HCO-HuntingCamOnline
