Got an e-mail from our lease manager yesterday. It appears that this spring is the wettest in several years at our lease in West Texas. The land owner is very happy about the amount of rain we are gettin. Some of our hunters went down last weekend and filled the feeders and were rained on a number of timer over two days. The place looks like a "GREEN GARDEN". Hope that ol' wall hanger is a fattin up!!!!!!!!!!!

Just checked the weather radar, the rain seems to have left my neck of the woods. However it looks like there is a very large area of HEAVY rain in south Texas. I really do hope that you, LAMAR AND HARDY, get your holiday bar-b-q rained on. You can set on the patio have a beer and hope the bottom of them clouds falls out. Hope you'all get a good soakin.

Had spotty stuff around 4PM yesterday to the east (farm area). Then last night while in dream land about 4AM all hell broke loose. Thunder and flashes of lightning woke us all up. Gathering reports now. Finges crossed.... By the way.... I like my backstrap medium rare and gravy spoonable William!

Hope you got a good rain Lamar, I know you need it badly. AHHH medium rare and hot thick gravy!!!!! I'm gonna have to do somethin here, Raid the freezer, I still have some backstrap in there. I'll send you some picts after I take a nap, full stomach and all.
