ALAN HENRY

Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits and baby bass lipless crankbaits along creek channel bends, and fair on green pumpkin large tube baits, dark jigs and live baits suspended in trees. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on live baits.

AMISTAD 
Water clear; 60 degrees; 2.18' high. Black bass are good on Yamamoto Senkos, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, nightcrawlers, and soft plastic lizards in 3 - 25 feet. Striped bass are good on slabs, crankbaits, and Sassy Shad. White bass are good on slabs, crankbaits, and Sassy Shad. Crappie are fair on minnows in Devil's River above Rough Canyon in the trees. Catfish are good over baited holes in 60 - 120 feet. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

ARROWHEAD 
Water lightly stained; 58 degrees; 6.78' low. Black bass are fair on shallow-running lipless crankbaits or swim blade jigs off rocky points. Crappie are good on minnows fished at the east side bridges with some fish moving shallow. White bass are fair trolling. Blue Catfish are good drift fishing with cut shad or cheese baits on flats at 12-15 feet depth.

ATHENS 
Water lightly stained, 52-59 degrees; 0.31' low. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, flukes and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs fished over brush piles. Bream are fair to good on live worms. Catfish are good on live worms and prepared bait.

BASTROP

BOB SANDLIN

BRAUNIG

BRIDGEPORT 
Water fairly clear; 53-59 degrees; 9.17' low. Black bass are fair on shad pattern crankbaits, Rat-L-Traps and 4" Yum Dingers. White bass and hybrid striper are fair on slabs and live bait. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait.

BROWNWOOD 
Water stained; 55 degrees; 5.61' low. Black bass are fair on Hot Tomato Bass Hog spinnerbaits, Brownwood craw jigs, black/blue Bass Hogg jigs, perch and craw colored RJA Customcrank baits, and chrome/blue Rat-L-Traps along the shorelines in 3 - 5 feet. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are excellent on Li'l Fishies, Rat-L-Traps, and shad crankbaits. Crappie are fair on Li'l Fishies and tube jigs over brush piles in 5 - 22 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN 
Water clear; 63 degrees; 16.02' low. Black bass are fair on jerkbaits, 1/8oz. and ¼oz. pumpkin Curb's jigs, and Carolina rigged JDC lizards along break lines and bluff ledges in 10 - 25 feet. Striped bass are good drifting live bait in 25 - 35 feet, and trolling white/chartreuse Curb's striper jigs and crankbaits. White bass are fair on Pirk Minnows, slabs, and trolling crankbaits at the mouths of larger creeks. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles in 12 - 15 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

CADDO 
Water off color; 52-59 degrees; 0.53' high. Black bass are fair on Senkos, flukes, spinnerbaits and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut shad.

CALAVERAS 
Water stained; 64 degrees. Black bass are good on dark soft plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits in reed beds and near the dam. Striped bass are good on spoons and jigs near the dam and the crappie wall in 15 - 20 feet. Redfish are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on liver, shrimp, and cheesebait near the railroad trestle. Yellow catfish are slow.

CANYON LAKE 
Water clear; 61 degrees; 11.90' low. Black bass are fair on jerkbaits, black/chartreuse Curb's hair jigs, and Texas rigged Scoundrel worms on shaky jig heads in 20 - 25 feet. Striped bass are fair to good trolling ¼oz. white Curb's striper jigs, and vertically jigging Pirk Minnows and Spoiler Shads. White bass are fair jigging Pirk Minnows and ¼oz. Blade Baits along the main river channel at mid lake in 40 feet. Smallmouth bass are good on JDC smoke/red flake tubes, tomato red curl tail grubs, and tomato red drop shot worms over rock piles in 12 - 25 feet. Crappie are fair on minnows and crappie jigs upriver. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

CEDAR CREEK 
Water lightly stained; 53-60 degrees; 2.95' low. Black bass are fair on medium running shad pattern crankbaits, Texas rigs and drop shot rigs. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad and large slabs jigged vertically. Crappie are fair to good on minnows. Catfish are fair drifting cut shad.

CHOKE CANYON 
Water clear; 65 degrees; 6.07' low. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and heavy jigs in grass. White bass are good on minnows and jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Drum are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait and live perch. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLEMAN

COLORADO RIVER

CONROE

COOPER

FORK

HOUSTON COUNTY

Crappie are slow. Bream are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good. Lake record 55 pound catfish caught on a June bug lizard near the dam in 14 feet by Tony Pyle of Crockett.

HUBBARD CREEK
