This is an exciting time for Cross Trail Outfitters – Youth Hunting and Fishing Club. We are continuing to Build Men, Preserve our Heritage and Share our Faith – now with seven full-time missionaries (we call them Outfitters) in communities across Texas and into Louisiana.
The impact we see through our work in the lives of boys and young men is profound. This is a vast and under-served harvest field. Now in our fifth year, we’ve learned how to use the blessings of God’s great outdoors to make a real difference, one boy at a time. We’ve also learned how to build a successful local club around this methodology, and how to effectively manage numerous successful clubs in a region.
We now have applications and inquiries from remarkable men across North America who want to become Outfitters and bring CTO to the youth in their communities. The potential to grow CTO into a premier national organization is very real, and we are approaching this carefully, strategically, and thoughtfully – and yet also boldly and with faith. It is rare in life that one is blessed with an opportunity like this – to make a powerful, tangible impact in the world – and we are committed to doing it right. Our Take it to the Nation campaign is an articulation of the vision and need, and an effort to build relationships with key contributors who will partner with us as we seek to reach our full potential.
We’ve heard the call, and now we’re announcing our effort to Take it to the Nation – with a goal of establishing 50 local club units in three regions in four years. Our plans are on-track and rolling forward.
We have set up a new website at www.CrossTrail.org with some fantastic new videos, testimonials, and other information related to our Take it to the Nation campaign.
Right now is a key time, and we are seeking partners who share our vision and passion. I do believe the best years of America can still lie ahead of us – but it will take the passionate, tireless, selfless efforts of countless people to make this possible, and I am excited to be doing my part. Your involvement at this time will have a direct impact, enabling us to make a deep and meaningful difference in the hearts and minds of a generation of boys and young men across America – our future leaders, husbands and fathers.
I hope you will take a moment to look at the new website at www.CrossTrail.org. Please call or email me if you have any questions, or if you’d like to become a part of what we’re doing.
Sincerest thanks,
Mike
