The Sporting Clays Mobile Range provides shooting opportunities for youth, women, gun clubs and ranges. The unit may be scheduled for public or some private events, but must be scheduled a year in advance. The range supports special events such as the 4-H Whiz Bang, competition and Becoming An Outdoors Woman workshops. In addition, Wing Shooting Awareness Workshops are scheduled and open to the public by registration only. These workshops provide shotgun enthusiast with an opportunity to learn more about “wounding loss” of waterfowl and upland birds and instruction in successful ways to decrease wounding loss.
