I have the itch to do some hunting. This time of year what can we hunt in Texas on public land? Just hogs? I'm willing to go anywhere around the state.....seems like it is just the wrong time of year. Is there anywhere hogs are out and about during daylight?

I have had good luck at Granger WMA. I may also try sommerville with some baits.
