Preserving your trophy through quality taxidermy expertise is a common way of commemorating your hunt.  All taxidermy work is not created equal, and as the old saying goes, you often get what you pay for with taxidermy work.

 
For over 20 years, WSI has been relying on the superlative and dependable assistance of Palermo Taxidermy, which has been around for almost 50 years.  Competitive prices, quality work, and decent turn around times are their trademark.  For our clients who opt for us to handle their taxidermy arrangements for them, we will transport your capes and antlers/horns to Palermo, and they will then contact you to discuss details and will request a deposit.  Once the work is complete, the balance of the payment will be due, and they will then crate and ship your mount.
 
If we have to ship your cape to your taxidermist, the frozen cape will either be shipped overnight or two day UPS and you will be responsible for these shipping charges, plus a WSI service fee that typically runs $20 - $40 depending upon what is being shipped.  Overnight UPS charges for a whitetail cape will run approximately $100, while larger animals may cost close to $200 for overnight shipping.
 
For those hunters who shop for the cheapest price, take into consideration whether saving $100 - $200 is worth it when you may have paid several thousand for the hunt, and the taxidermy aspect of the hunt is an indelible product you will likely look at and show to your friends for the rest of your life!
