TTHA Youth Essay Contest - Win a Free Whitetail Hunt with TTHA!

One lucky youth will win a free Whitetail buck hunt in the Texas Hill Country. In addition, the winner will be awarded a membership in the Texas Trophy Hunters Association and their hunt will be featured on the Journal of the American Trophy Hunters television show.
 
Youths, ages 10-17, are encouraged to write a 500 word or less essay entitled "Why the Rights of Hunters Should Be Protected".  The hunt will take place December 12-14, 2008 at the R Diamond Ranch near Fredericksburg, Texas. Food and lodging will be provided. The winner will be responsible for transportation, processing and/or taxidermy.

Contest rules are as follows:

1. Contest open to 10 to 17 year olds.
2. Participants must have successfully completed an accredited hunter education course and possess a current hunting license.
3. Entries must be 500 words or less and include name (first, middle initial, last), mailing address including zip code, phone number, date, city and state where hunter education course was completed, hunting license number and state of issue, age and date of birth.
4. Essays must be printed or typed.
5. Only one (1) entry per person.
6. One (1) winner will be selected by the Editorial staff of The Journal of the Texas Trophy Hunters magazine.
7. All essays become the property of TTHA.
8. All entries must be postmarked by November 1, 2008 and mailed to:
