Just got back from my first fly fishing experience in Colorado. For those of you familiar with popular fly fishing destinations, we fished the Roaring Fork, Frying Pan and Colorado rivers. The weather and fishing surpassed my expectations and I highly recommend it to anyone that is interested.

Thanks! We used guides out of Taylor Creek Fly Shop and they were great. You should definitely go again and see if you have better luck. What time of year did you go? The guides told us mid-late August and late March are the best.

Looks like you had a great time.  Flyfishing seems difficult to master, but rewarding.  A friend of mine in college used to flyfish and even tie his own flies...he just couldn't get enough of it.
