BOB SANDLIN Water off color; 79-86 degrees; 0.28' high. Black bass are fair to good on Stanley Ribbits and topwater plugs early, later switching to Carolina rigs and Texas rigs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs over brush piles. White bass are fair to good on topwaters and Humdingers. Catfish are good on prepared bait.
CADDO Lake Water stained; 80-87 degrees; 0.72' high. Black bass are good on Scum Frogs, Senkos and Texas rigs. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows and jigs. White bass are good on Little Georges. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait and nightcrawlers.
Lake CONROE Water clear; 0.37' low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red Carolina rigged soft plastics, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are good on silver/gold striper jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and green and blue tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait, liver, and bait shrimp.
Lake FORK Water lightly stained; 80-86 degrees; 0.6' high. Black bass are fair to good soft plastic frogs, Rat-L-Traps, Senkos and Texas rigs. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows around the bridges and over brush piles. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.
HOUSTON COUNTY Water clear; 87 degrees; 0.20' high. Black bass to 5 pounds are fair on bream colored Rat-L-Traps on the southeast side of the lake in 5 feet early and late. Crappie are fair on live minnows off piers at night and around structure near the pump station in 12 - 14 feet. White bass are good along the northeast shore. Bream are good on live worms off piers and near grass beds. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with shad.
LAKE O' THE PINES Water stained; 79-86 degrees; 2.21' high. Black bass are fair to good on Yellow Magics and Ribbit Frogs early, later switching to Texas rigs and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on minnows over brush piles. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.
Lake LIVINGSTON Water fairly clear; 85 degrees; 0.07' high. Black bass are good on soft plastics and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are good on hellbenders, pet spoons, and green Charlie slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

MONTICELLO Water fairly clear; 81-89 degrees; 0.09' low. Black bass are good on topwaters early, later switching to Texas rigs, spinnerbaits and chrome Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait.
Lake SAM RAYBURN Water lightly stained; 81 degrees; 1.60' low. Black bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows and silver spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows and chartreuse jigs over brush piles. Bream are fair on crickets and nightcrawlers. Catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait, liver, and cut bait.

TOLEDO BEND Water clear; 81 degrees; 0.49' low. Black bass are good but small on redbug and watermelon red soft plastic worms and crankbaits in the boating lanes. Striped bass are fair on minnows and silver striper jigs. White bass are fair on silver spoons. Crappie are good on minnows and blue/green tube jigs over baited holes in 20 feet. Bream are good on nightcrawlers and crickets in 2 - 8 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait, stinkbait, livers, and hearts. Yellow catfish are slow.
WRIGHT PATMAN Water lightly stained; 78-82 degrees; 7.25' high. Black bass are good on Texas rigs, Senkos and finesse jigs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows. Catfish are fair on prepared baits.
