Lake ALAN HENRY Water lightly stained; 82 degrees; 2.17' low. Black bass are good on white buzzbaits or spinnerbaits, black/blue jigs and dark soft plastics along timber lines. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs.
Lake ARROWHEAD Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 3.29' low. Black bass are good on swim-blade baits and spinnerbaits along rocky points and vegetation. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs at state park, and around flooded timber and mesquites in 6-8 feet. White bass are good shallow while chasing shad. Catfish are good on juglines and drift fishing with shad or punch bait.
Lake BROWNWOOD Water lightly stained; 81 degrees; 2.88' low. Black bass are very good on watermelon flukes, buzzbaits, and spinnerbaits off grass flats, and on redbug and watermelon red Grande Bass 4" finesse worms with chartreuse tails near the rocks. Hybrid striper are good trolling white/chartreuse striper jigs. White bass are very good on Li'l Fishies and minnows off lighted docks at night. Crappie are fair on minnows and Li'l Fishies in 4 - 12 feet. Channel catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait in 10 - 20 feet. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait.
COLEMAN Lake Water clear; 79 degrees; 2.72' low. Black bass are very good on Rat-L-Traps, spinnerbaits, and chartreuse soft plastics. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad near the park and the store. Crappie are good on minnows and Li'l Fishies at night. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch and chicken livers. Yellow catfish are slow.
COLORADO CITY Water clear; 79 degrees; 6.75' low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White bass are slow. Catfish are slow.
FT. PHANTOM HILL Water clear; 77 degrees; 0.33' low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on live baits. Catfish are fair on live baits.
GREENBELT Water lightly stained; 76 degrees; 26.44' low. Black bass are fair on topwater lures, white spinnerbaits, and black/blue jigs worked around rocky points, timber and grass lines. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live baits, topwater lures, and shad-colored crankbaits along riprap. Smallmouth bass are good on live baits, white spinnerbaits or crankbaits along riprap. Walleye are good on live baits and jerkbaits. Catfish are good on live baits and prepared baits.
HUBBARD CREEK Water lightly stained; 78 degrees; 1.17' low. Black bass are fair on minnows, shad-colored spinnerbaits or Baby One Minus crankbaits along points and grass lines, or dark red glitter jigs worked along reeds with timber. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass and hybrid striper are good on live baits and baby bass crankbaits along humps and rocky points. Catfish are good on live baits.
Lake MACKENZIE Water lightly stained; 72 degrees; 76.06' low. Black bass are fair on live bait, shad-colored crankbaits, and watermelon soft plastics. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass and striped bass are good on minnows and shad-colored Rat-L-Traps. Smallmouth bass are fair on live baits and chrome jerkbaits. Walleye are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on live baits.
Lake MEREDITH Water lightly stained; 76 degrees; 77.50' low. Black bass are fair on topwater lures, white spinnerbaits, and Texas-rigged soft live baits off rocky points, timber and grass lines. Crappie are fair on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait and shad-colored crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are fair on shad-colored spinnerbaits and live baits. Walleye are fair on live baits along riprap. Channel catfish are good on live baits. Note: Boat launching is limited due to low water conditions.

Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live baits and crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on live baits and shad-colored crankbaits along points. POSSUM KINGDOM Water stained 81 degrees; 1.50' low. Black bass are slow on small silver crankbaits in the back of coves in the south end. Crappie are slow on small jigs worked along deep points in the mid-lake area. White bass are slow on small shad-colored crankbaits in the mid-lake area coves. Catfish are good on worms in coves by the dam.
Lake SPENCE Water lightly stained; 76 degrees; 50.73' low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White bass are slow. Striped bass and hybrid striper are slow. Catfish are slow.
Lake STAMFORD Water lightly stained; 77 degrees; 1.79' low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White and striped bass are fair on live baits. Catfish are fair on live baits.
SWEETWATER Water lightly stained; 78 degrees; 1.46' low. Black bass are slow on live baits. Crappie are slow on live baits and jigs. White bass are slow. Catfish are slow on live baits.
WHITE RIVER Water lightly stained; 82 degrees; 30.73' low. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin large soft plastic tubes or black/blue jigs worked along stickups and timber, and live baits or white spinnerbaits along rocky points near drop-offs. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. Walleye are good on live baits and crankbaits. Channel catfish are good on live baits.
WICHITA Water turbid; 82 degrees; 1.14' low. Crappie are slow near pavilion pilings and on trotlines. White bass and hybrid striped bass are fair on minnows or live shad in front of the spillway area. Channel catfish are fair drift fishing with shad and on trotlines. Boat launching is difficult due to low water conditions.
