My buddy has 160 acres in Eastland county. Be sure to leave a non human contact/disturbance sanctuary-that is critical. At least 50 acres. Be sure to have some water. Don't shoot does if you want to grow the herd. Wouldn't hurt to feed during rough times. Good luck, keep us posted!

Everything is all set for food plots. This past weekend I bought a Massey 235 tractor, and 4 implements. I march I start getting the ground ready. I will try to get a spring crop in the ground, but my main focus is food plots in the fall. Trail cameras will also go out next month.

Spring food plots are a little behind because of the rain, but I can't complain. I will take the rain.  Set up my first game camera last week, so I will be able to see whats there, and see how good the camera is. The past few months I bought a tractor and several implements so I am fired up about the food plots for this coming season. I did see 5 deer out there. 3 during the day so already things are looking better than last year. The price of grain is getting out of control and I am looking for alternatives for feed. There will be more mixed grain in my feeders this year.

Checked the trail camera and got a few pics but had to make some adjustments to get better pics. Will start getting food plots ready this month. Still getting rain so crossing the creek may have to wait. I will try to load a couple of pics later. I have seen deer everytime I go out. I have already seen more this year than last. Should be a good year.
