I started like you with the friende and they spread the word and now my bussisnes is taking off. If you have a good place and reasonable prices the hunters will come. i dont have a camp house yet but have nice rv hookups $125.00 per day per hunter,three meals per day this ant bologna sandwichs,one hog per day per hunter any choice no hidden cost $50.00per hog for extras. check my website   thanks   RD

Hey roger, I have some friends that move from California. We been hunting at a friends ranch and only shot one buck. they love to try hog huntingcause they still have the hunting fever, let me know about that free hunts and for sure they  will get hook on it.

Save your money on running ads in the News Papers.  It is a dying medium of finding hunters.  Also, most Brochures end up in the trash.  Make sure you have a good product, meaning you have quality animals to shoot, and a good lodge.  Do NOT lie to paying hunters as to what they can expect to kill, sleep in, eat etc. 

There are a lot of folks out there selling hunts these days, some are better than others and some ruin it for the rest of us that have been in the hunting business a long time.  Half of guiding/outfitting is customer service.  Hunting is the other half.  Make sure you take care of your client. 

Also, there is a such thing as a hunt being too cheap.  Most people will see hunts advertised for very cheap and wonder what the catch is, or what the hidden costs are etc.  Anyone coming from out of state will be looking for quality not price.

Looking to book a boar hunt or feral pig hunt. From what I understand these are considered nusiance animals. Call me the cleaner:) I would like to find a ranch/farm who wants some pigs hunted down. I have been hunting before and love it, i ask my wife if she would like to try it and is gamed, i am tring to locate a hunting area for hog and deer, but i hate to spend a whole lot of money for a hunt a she dose not like it or not shoot anything, if we can find something free or little cost to start her on and hope she likes it and strat going years to come as a team.

I have been wanting, for years, to bag a hog. BAGAHOG is one word I think. If Texas is so "over run" with hogs why is it impossible to find a place close to Houston to "help" with the "problem" and doesn't charge more than my pickup to hunt.

I too am looking for a hunt after I get back from Afghanistan.  I am stationed at Fort Hood and I am willing to drive where ever I can get into some hogs.  I dont want to beg for a free hunt, I am more than willing to pay.  My son and I want to shoot some hogs with our bows, no meat eating hogs, we want to butcher these up and feast.  Any suggestions please let me know or PM me with the details.
