I think it is real. Not sure how sweet it is, though. I would not want that many pigs on my place.

Keep yer eyes peeled!

That place definitely needs some pest extermination.  Wonder how the whitetail population is on that place...probably next to nothing with all that pork around.

Bring the swamp buggy from Florida, 2 shooters on the front deck, 2 in the low deck shooting racks, and two more in the high rack . 12 guage, 31/2" 00 and 460 CI should take care of the problems...

I think that yall would be surprised.  There is at least that many and Im sure more on many ranches throughout Texas.  I would say that there is that many for every 50 or so acres, unless they are extremely managed off.  Pigs are prolific breeders.  A sow gives birth to double digit numbers of piglets 3 times a year.  I have about 250 acres with hunting access to the neighboring owners land which puts me at about 500 or so.  This year I saw several sows with large litters of babies, one having 14.  Plus, I saw several other sows that had milk sacks hanging down.  So, in my area, lets say that there were 6 sows, that I saw, with an average of 8-10 babies.  We're at 60 or so just right there.  Then, you have to figure in the 4-5  lone boars and teenage type pigs that I saw on each and every hunt.  I wouldnt doubt that we could have at least 100 pigs traveling around our land at any given time.  Now, we dont mind these pigs and dont shoot a whole lot off because they dont cause too much damage and we havent seen a decline in deer pops.

Now, these were just estimates that I made.  However, I have never seen that many at one feeder all at once.  The most Ive seen together is about 20.  Though we did let somebody hog hunt out there once and didnt know that he was trapping about 5 a week for the entire hunting season.  He did not have permission to take this many off by trapping so we booted him.  However, it only slightly dented the hog population and in 2 years they were back in full force.

Those rifles are great untill you get shot at with one...then you want nothing to do with them!

I have that many on my place off 624 out side Corpus Christi and I am taking reservations. I have on the average of 20-30 hogs at every blind waiting for it to go off. You can walk all day and find them. Give me a call or email and see for your self. igot more pics if you want.
