Lake LBJ: Water stained (alge bloom); 77-78 degrees; 824.80': Largemouth are fair early in 6'-12' along rip rap on seawalls, docks and water willows using weightless watermelon-red Whacky Sticks, Shad Rat-L-Traps and weightless, Flukes. White bass are very good at night using Creme Lure's Spoilers and in-line spinners. Crappie are fair to good over brushpiles in 12' on minnows and white Curb's crappie jigs. Smallmouth are good in 10'-15' over rockpiles on mainlake points and ledges using rootbeer JDC grubs/ craws and green-pumpkin tubes on ball jigheads. Stripers are slow to 21" trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits, vertically jigging white Curb's striper jigs and Pirk Minnows. White Bass are slow.
