Lake LBJ Water Stained, 85 degrees, 824.88' Largemouth are fair to good early in 5-12 feet using black/blue Curb's Erratic jigs, blue flake Whacky Sticks, Texas rigged Big Pigs to docks and laydowns. Stripers to 2 inches good at night on Creme Lure's 2 inch Spoiler Shads and Little Fishies. White Bass fair to good at night on Little Fishies. Crappie are fair to good over brush piles in clear water on Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows. Channel Catfish are very good on worms, liver and dip bait. Yellow and Blue Catfish are very good on trotlines using goldfish and perch. Canyon Lake: Water: clear; 84 degrees; 918.84': Largemouth are fair to good along grassy banklines early and late and good all day upriver using JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters, watermelon-red Whacky Sticks and later on Texas rigged blue flake worms and drop shot Devil's Tongues along breaklines and ledges. Smallmouth are fair early in 12- 28 feet using smoke JDC grubs, and 3/16 oz. pumpkin Curb's jigs w/matching JDC craw trailers. Stripers are slow to fair trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits over and around humps and jigging 1 oz. Pirk Minnows at daylight. White Bass are slow. Channel Catfish are N/A. Yellow and Blue Catfish are good however, the river is very high.
