Well i went to Cancun this week with my fiance.  We got there sunday morning and left friday morning.  I really wanted to go fishing so we booked a trip for four hours on Tuesday.  We went out on a thirty foot charter boat.  We got on the water around 630am and it was nice.

Once we got out a little ways the waves were huge.  I have been deep sea fishing many times and they were nothing like these.  There was a total of six people fishing and by the time we got out ten miles, four people were sick and thats including my fiance.  So we stopped at the first spot and I waited for my fishing pole.  The two deck hands started dropping the poles down, set the hook on two poles, and handed them to the guy that wasnt sick and myself, and said reel it in.

We were the only two feeling good the whole time. Well we caught two snapper.  Then they continued to set the hook then give us the poles.  I did not like that, I want to drop my own line and set my own hook but they did not speak very good english so i could not talk to them really.

So we caught about fifteen and then we started trolling for sailfish or mahi mahi.  About an hour later i hooked into a 90 inch sail fish.  The fight was on and it was fun.  This fish jumped and jumped.  I was telling my fiance to take pics but she was too sick to.  So i figured i would just get some when we got it on the boat.

So then i got the fish almost close enough to gaff and the hook came out.  I was very disapointed but also glad to have been able to fight it and see it.  I never really cared about catching one but i do now that i have experienced it.  I was kind of glad when it was over just so my fiance and everyone else would feel better.  That was my trip in Mexico.
