Overview:

Born and raised in Port O’Connor, Texas, and with 30+ years of experience fishing these waters, Captain Jimbo Barnes’ “Rusted Hook Guide Service” would like to customize your next salt water adventure.

Trout, redfish, and flounder are available year around in the nearby Matagorda, Espiritu Santo, San Antonio Bay systems, and Baffin Bay is within reach.  We realize some people prefer wading a secluded shoreline while others prefer the comfort of the boat.  Likewise, some fishermen enjoy chunking artificials while others find free lining live croakers more appealing.  Either way, Rusted Hook Guide Service has the experience to make your trip successful.

Additionally, as a former competitive blue water captain, seasonal offshore trips can be arranged.

Currently, I am operating a 2004 Outback 24V Sport Powered by a Mercury Salt Water Series 150 HP Outboard.  This boat has proven to be comfortable, dry and a stable fishing platform.
