Additional InformationOverview: Lake Conroe is located about 30 miles north of Houston off of I-45 North. We fish out of beautiful Seven Coves Marina and Resort located on FM 830 off of I-45, just N. of Conroe. Waterfront condo rentals are available for out of town guests. I have been catfishing on Lake Conroe since 1980 and know Lake Conroe like the back of my hand. I have caught literally thousands of catfish out of Lake Conroe over the years as a Lake Conroe fishing guide. As seasoned Lake Conroe fishing guides we specialize in catching eating size catfish on rod and reel. Normally in the 1 to 5 pound range. Channel and Blue catfish. Just right for the dinner table! We take you out on Lake Conroe in style on a comfortable 24' or 28' covered pontoon boat rigged for catfishing. We furnish everything you will need on your Catfish Killer catfishing trip: All rods and reels, all fishing tackle, Famous Catfish Killer Cheese Dip Bait, and one polaroid picture upon request, of you and your catch to take home to brag about! All you will need to bring with you is a lunch and/or snack on full or half day trips and the beverage of your choice, a good size ice chest for your catfish and a 20# bag of ice to keep your catfish cool. Darrell Taylor is a worthless guide. First, he double booked my trip and did not tell us. We booked the trip for 4 people and when we arrived there were 4 more people he had booked for the same time. 8 people fishing on his not very large boat. Second, he is a bigot. He made racial slurs during the trip. He referred to Mexicans as "wet-backs", and kept referring to a previous man he took out as this "big black guy", when we had an African American on board! He told us his theory of stopping illegal immigration on the Texas boarder. He said, "Instead of building a fence that won't work, we should just put up towers (like they have in prison) with guards and machine guns, and build a wall out of the dead Mexicans they kill. If this wasn't bad enough, the spot he took us to did not have many catfish at all. Instead of him "guiding" us to another spot, where there may be fish, we spent the entire half day trip in this one spot. Out of 8 people, 5 of which were experienced fishermen, we caught 8 catfish. His only attempt at being a "fishing guide" was to say...repeatedly..."The fish are there, folks, you just have to catch 'em"! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS TERRIBLE "GUIDE" AND RACIST BIGOT!!!!!!!!!!
