Sierra Ryder Land Management is offering packaged Whitetail, Aoudad, and
Turkey Hunts at the exclusive Jarrett River Ranch. The Jarrett River Ranch is
located about 8 miles south of Baker's crossing on TX Hwy 163 in Val Verde
County. The ranch has 11,250 huntable acres and 7.5 miles of waterfront on the
Devil's River. The entire property has been Managed under the Kerr Wildlife
program since 1990, and has not been hunted since the fall of 2004 Hunts will begin on either Wednesday or Thursday afternoon and will run
through Sunday at mid-day. Guides from Sierra Ryder will meet your group in
either Ozona or Del Rio, TX and escort you to the ranch where you'll stay in one
of the Ranch's riverfront cabins. Hunting packages available for Whitetail Bucks, Auodad or combination
packages that include both types of hunts. All hunts include lodging, food (Hunters must bring their own alcoholic
beverages), and unlimited fishing on the Ranch's 7 miles of private Devil's
River waterfront. Methods Allowed: Archery, Shotgun, Rifle Game available: Exotics: Black Hawaiian Sheep, Aoudad (Barbary) Sheep, Barbado Ram Upland Game Birds: Dove - Whitewing, Quail - Blue, Turkey - Rio Grande, Dove - Mourning Predator & Small Game: Mountain Lion, Rabbit, Raccoon, Coyote, Fox, Bobcat, Feral Hog Native Big Game: Whitetail Deer, Javelina Property available to hunt with this guide:
