Additional InformationOverview: While B&B Outfitters' home base is in Port Aransas, Texas, our ranches are located in Pecos, Terrell and Crockett Counties (West Texas). We have been in the hunting business since 1986, and have become, through a lot of dedication, hard work and honest work ethics, one of the most successful outfitting businesses in Texas. What makes B&B Outfitters so big? Whereas most outfitters are limited to the type of game they hunt, we listen to our clients and then go out and find what THEY want. Our policy is, and always will be, that the customer comes FIRST. We employ a staff of professional people who work with us and share our work ethics. We hunt on over 100,000 acres and are the actual outfitters; not a booking agent. We offer package hunts for West Texas Whitetail and West Texas Mule Deer hunting (we also offer Combo Hunts for Whitetail and Mule Deer). In the spring we offer Rio Grande Turkey hunts. We created B&B Outfitters to share the natural resources of Texas with people from all walks of life. Over the years countless men, women, children, individuals and corporate groups alike have chosen B&B Outfitters as their connection to First Class Hunting. At your request we would be more than happy to supply you with a reference list. Methods Allowed: Game available: Native Big Game: Whitetail Deer, Javelina, Mule Deer Property available to hunt with this guide:

With approximately 100,000 acres of hunting land, we boast a tremendous population of Whitetail. This area of Texas is definitely animal rich! Regardless of where you are in West Texas, the free-ranging/low fenced Whitetail will average in score between 120 and 140, although many larger ones may be harvested. Our success rate has been an incredible 100% since 1996! By game managing our deer we are able to produce quality hunts year and year. We NEVER charge a trophy fee – whether he scores 102 or 202 the price doesn’t change! All of our packages include meals, lodging (we have lodging on all three of the ranches), 4 full days of hunting, either fully or semi-guided (there is no extra charge for 1x1, nor do we charge a "rental fee" for stand or equipment useage!), care of game, mount preparation and delivery to our local taxidermist. They have a great web site & promise you the moon. My first impression of the "lodge" was that I have been kicked-out of better places.
The Ranch Foreman, Bill & the only guide, Matt were hillarious. The best cheap entertainment you could find, but the hunting sucked.
We hunted box blinds that had been over-hunted, hell, I could smell the scent of humans all over them. Lots of deer to look at, but the quality was poor. Small bucks and lots of them. They tell you the average size buck harvested will be 140, no way will it happen. I shot a 130" 8-point and it was the biggest buck taken or seen the week I was in camp and from the group that was in camp a week prior to our hunt.
I kind of felt like my group was a burden to them, the only thing Bucky wanted to do was relax and drink beer. If you want a place to go party, this is your outfitter, but if you're a serious hunter, pass them by.
